Dr. Yimar Angell resides in Sarasota, Florida with her husband and four children. Initially, Dr. Angell graduated as a dentist overseas and is bilingual in English and Spanish. After years of practicing dentistry and having her own dental office, she decided to come to this wonderful country. Because of her passion for dentistry, she returned to school and attended the Boston University School of Dental Medicine so that she could practice in the U.S.While in Boston, Dr. Angell worked in community health centers as a clinical instructor for dental students attending Harvard, Tufts, and Boston University, guiding them to become new dentists. She also worked in private dental practices in Massachusetts. Although Massachusetts will be forever in her heart, she recently left the frigid northeast and relocated to the sunny state of Florida.In order to provide her patients with excellent dental care, Dr. Angell has attended numerous postdoctoral and continuing education courses in Endodontics, Periodontics, Oral Implantology, Prosthodontics, Sedation, and Cosmetic Dentistry to stay current in her field.
